Korea Petrochemical Industry Corp. (KPIC) is likely to start a new monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant.
“The plant is in the launching stage and construction is yet to be started, but is likely to start commercial operations in the third quarter of 2014,” a KPIC official told fibre2fashion.
The official further added that the estimated investment of the project is US$ 200 million and the production capacity will be 200,000 tons per year.
