Sales of Japanese Car in China in April Rebound for the First Time

In the past April, the overall performance of the domestic automobile market seemed well, especially Japanese cars, although sales remained the downward trend, but the decline has slowed down. In April, Toyota's vehicles’ sales in China reached 76,000, a decrease of 6.5% compared to the same period last year, but less than the decline rate of March which was 11.7%. Sales of Nissan Motor in April in China reached 103,000, an increase of 2.7% compared to the same period last year, reversing the momentum of a 17% decline in March. Mazda's vehicle’ sales in China in April reached 12,000, a decrease of 15.2% over the same period last year, though still maintaining the downward trend, but less than the rate in March of 25%.

This is the first rebound since the September last year except the January, in this regard, a number of Japanese car firms 4S shop staff said in an interview yesterday that "Now the consumer came to the store to look the cars indeed increased significantly, mainly because many new models listed, as well as the store launched various preferential subsidy measures."
