Sydney-based Pro-Pac, a subsidiary of PPG has announced the acquisition of business and assets of Australian Pharmaceutical Containers (APC), for an undisclosed amount.
Pro-Pac chief executive officer Brandon Penn said the purchase will complement Pro-Pac's rigid division, which serves the pharmaceutical, personal care, food service, industrial, chemical, and automotive industries.
"This purchase provides good synergy and opportunities for Pro Pac's Rigid Division with a database, which will provide new and existing clientele," Penn added.
The Sydney-based importer and distributer of pharmaceutical glass containers and supplier of metal closures, APC's product range will be extended to the company's interstate distribution centers.
The container and closure product range will be new for the Pro-Pac's rigid division line.
Pro-Pac, a diversified manufacturing and distribution company provides flexible and rigid packaging solutions for a broad group of customers.
