Announcing Prepster Pineapple, a new line of casual cotton shirts and apparel designed specifically for teens and tweens. Created by Abby Schiff, a high school freshman, who is the company's Chief Creative Officer, Prepster Pineapple is a true family business. The company is run by Jennifer L. Schiff, a journalist who covers small business and ecommerce, whose husband, Kenny Schiff, a technology entrepreneur, serves as Chief Technology Officer.
A combination of Hawaii surfer chic with a casual preppy vibe is what makes Prepster Pineapple Clothing unique – and perfect for today's fashion-conscience, comfort-seeking teen.
"Teens want clothing that is both really comfortable and looks good on them," explained Abby Schiff. "They want shirts that are fun yet stylish, that make them feel happy when they wear them. And that's what Prepster Pineapple is all about."
"We went to Hawaii to shoot the photos that appear on the Prepster Pineapple website, so that when customers land on our home or landing pages, they immediately get what the brand is about," said Jennifer L. Schiff . "The models featured in our photos are local high school students, many of whom are surfers. They demonstrate how fun and fashionable Prepster Pineapple shirts are."
All Prepster Pineapple t-shirts are made from super soft 100% cotton and are garment-dyed, so no two shirts are exactly alike. They are then silk-screened, to give them a classic, vintage feel. Prepster Pineapple polo shirts are made from 100% pique knit cotton, perfect for recreational sports – or just hanging out. Both the t-shirts and the polo shirts bear the Prepster Pineapple logo – a hip, preppy, laid-back guy in sunglasses (who bears a striking resemblance to a pineapple).
In the next few months, Prepster Pineapple will be rolling out additional items, including cotton bucket hats (perfect for summer) and cotton garment-dyed sweatshirts (just in time for fall), all with the signature Prepster Pineapple logo on them.
