Barcode printing and labeling solutions provider SATO has announced the launch of the new SATO CUPS Drivers which enable customers to print labels from Linux and Mac OS X systems to its printers.
According to the company, the users can now benefit from flexibility and integrate printing into their computing system for simple as well as convenient support of printing needs.
The drivers, which are available for the GZ4e, CL6e, CG2/CG4 and M84Pro series printer models, integrate into the Linux-based PC or Mac set-up for general purpose printing functions using the CUPS printing system.
SATO and SATO International Europe chairman Ikuo Dobashi said, "The development of the Mac and Linux driver is another example of how we continue to expand our compatibility to meet the evolving needs of our customers."
The SATO CUPS Drivers have been developed in response to requirements of the growing Linux and Mac communities across many industries from transport & logistics to warehousing, manufacturing, retail and healthcare.
