The Final Set of Assay Results Have Been Received From The 2012 Drill Program

Ridgemont Iron Ore Corporation said that the final set of assay results have been received from the 2012 drill program on its Lac Virot iron project in the Labrador Iron Trough.

The Lac Virot Iron project is comprised of approximately 114 square kilometer of map staked mineral licenses located in the southern Labrador Trough, Canada's foremost iron ore mining region.

According to the Ridgemont Iron Ore, highlights from drilling included 6.1 meter grading 35.2% iron and 7.0 meters grading 32.7% iron in hole LV 028 7.0 and 9.7 meter grading 32.6% in hole LV 025.

Mr Brian Penney President and CEO of Ridgemont Iron Ore said that "Now that we have received the final set of results, we will complete a full assessment of the property in order to plan the next phase of our exploration program.”
