Wisconsin Cheese Mart Plans to Provide Aged Cheddars

Wisconsin Cheese Mart plans to offer aged Cheddars, which have been sourced from two different cheese factories in Wisconsin.

The first range includes 28-year-old Cheddar crafted by Ed Zahn, a cheesemaker at County Line Cheese in Oconto.

The second range includes a series of 20-plus-old Cheddars, some also produced by Zahn, and others crafted by cheesemaker Wayne Hintz, owner of Springside Cheese in Oconto Falls.

Wisconsin Cheese Mart owner Ken McNulty said that all aged Cheddars are in excellent shape, and feature substantial crystallization on the outside of each block.

"The cheeses are sourced from two different Wisconsin cheese factories. Each block features an exact date of production and letter of verification from the cheesemaker," McNulty added.

All Aged Cheddars will be available at 6 October at the Wisconsin Cheese Mart and its adjoining Cheese Bar. The Wisconsin Cheese Mart offers more than 200 varieties of cheese and shipping to all 50 states.
