The Youth Committee of the JSC TATNEFT's petrochemical complex won the first place in the contest "Best youth association of enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan".
Results of the contest have been summed up at the "Ak Bars" Youth Center in Kazan in the frame of the plenary session of the Open Forum of young workers of enterprises and organizations of Tatarstan.
The contest has been organized by the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the Regional Public Organization "Union of Youth of enterprises and organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan". The objectives of the contest include development of the system of working with youth of enterprises and organizations of the Republic, activity evaluation of youth structures of the working young people, as well as and the generalization and dissemination of best practices.
The youth organization of the TATNEFT's tire complex was established in February 2007 and brought together today 5,000 young workers (43 percent of the total employed force).
The key point of the youth policy pursued by the TATNEFT Company management is the identification and support of talented young people and uncovering of their creative potential. High skills of the petrochemical complex workers are ensured by continuous attention to the issues of improving the employees' professional level, especially that of the young people. Unfolding the creative potential is also promoted by annual professional skills contests, seminars and conferences arranged by the Central Council of Young Professionals
The priority areas of social policy include involvement of employees in physical education and sports and active healthy lifestyle.
Social guarantees of young workers stipulated in a separate section of the Collective Agreements of the petrochemical complex enterprises.
