Skippy,a US-based peanut butter brand owned by Unilever United States,has introduced its Skippy Natural Creamy with 1/3 Less Sodium and Sugar,compared to its regular creamy peanut butter.
Unilever US Foods marketing director Mike Dwyer said that Skippy delivers a nutritious and delicious fun to a balanced diet with recipes that can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
The company said that the Skippy Natural Creamy with 1/3 Less Sodium and Sugar is the first natural peanut butter variant available in the low sodium and low sugar segment of the peanut butter category.
Unilever brands include Axe,Ben&Jerry's,Bertolli,Knorr,Simple,Skippy.The company generated$8bn in sales in 2011 and has 11,000 employees in the US.
