Pernix Therapeutics Holdings, a specialty pharmaceutical company, is planning to deploy CDC Software's Ross Enterprise.
Ross Enterprise will help Pernix automate and integrate key business processes, and automate certain validation processes to improve data quality and provide audit trails to meet regulatory requirements.
Additionally, Ross's Contracts and Chargeback module will reduce the potential of overpayments, and TraceExpress module will facilitate compliance, while mitigating risk and exposure.
CDC Software Ross Systems president Sherri Rodriguez said Ross specifically addresses revenue leakage, compliance, and the need to mitigate corporate risk through the system's automation of contracts and chargebacks and end-to-end- traceability.
The enterprise is also used to streamline the transition from clinical trials to commercial manufacturing, and facilitate effective management of in-house and outsourced manufacturing.
