The Loading Dock Equipment Manufacturers (LODEM) Industry Group of MHI recently released "Vehicle Restraints 101." The document provides the basic knowledge required to understand and specify a vehicle restraint safety device in the loading dock area. The document covers three types of restraints', several different mounting options, as well as both manually operated and powered devices.
