Smurfit Kappa has announced the new name for its e-retail offering, eSmart, and said that the service is at the forefront of e-commerce packaging solutions.
The company said it is now working with 70% of European e-retail brands and eSmart will guide companies in 12 key areas, helping to enhance e-retail processes, supply chain efficiency and deliver better consumer experience.
Under the eCommerce packaging service, the firm’s experts will scrutinise and enhance the performance of packaging across 12 different business areas such as bag-in-box packaging, fuit and vegetables packaging and others.
The Hut Group is already using eSmart process, which allows to analyse online businesses, helping to streamline packing process and enhance efficiencies across the supply chain.
Food delivery service HelloFresh is also using the eSmart service, which allowed to optimise its e-retail process and increase packing space by 17% and pallet fill by 13%.
