Australia's Antidumping Commission has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) investigation against imports of hot rolled wire rod in coils with a diameter of less than 14 mm from Indonesia, Taiwan and Turkey, upon the application by the Australian steel producer OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd (OneSteel).
The application alleges that the goods have been exported to Australia at prices less than their normal value and that the dumping has caused material injury to the Australian industry.
The products subject to the antidumping duty investigation currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.91.00 and 7227.90.90.
