In recognition of Earth Day 2013, Haggar Clothing Co., the iconic American menswear company, announced today that over 80 million post-consumer plastic bottles have been upcycled through its eco-friendly apparel line E-CLO? which includes their popular LK Life Khaki? brand. These pants contain a unique blend of cotton and REPREVE?, which is made from recycled materials, including post-consumer plastic bottles. E-CLO and LK Life Khaki pants are innovative, earth-conscious apparel options for those seeking to reduce their ecological footprint through their everyday purchase decisions. Each pair of pants contains the equivalent of seven recycled plastic bottles- making Haggar one of the first major menswear manufacturers to produce apparel designed to reduce waste and conserve natural resources.
