Menasha Packaging has announced that the company’s Yukon Plant in Ruffs Dale, Pennsylvania, a part of its Western Pennsylvania Complex, has received certifications from two global product safety and quality standardization programs.
Following a comprehensive onsite audit, the plant achieved an 'A' grade certification from the British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Packaging and Packaging Materials.
The plant also received certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for quality management systems.
Menasha Packaging Western Pennsylvania Complex quality manager Deborah Long said, "These certifications show we are committed to always improving."
According to Menasha, BRC's Packaging and Packaging Materials standard is a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized scheme.
