French Crude Steel Output Increased by 5.9 Percent to 5.53 Million mt

In the first four months of this year, French crude steel output increased by 5.9 percent year on year to 5.53 million mt, according to the latest data released by the French Steel Federation (FFA).

Meanwhile, in April this year, French crude steel production amounted to 1.44 million mt, up by 16 percent year on year. In the same month, crude steel production in France using EAFs increased by 8.2 percent year on year to 542,000 mt, while crude steel production using BFs totaled 902,000 mt, increasing by 21.2 percent year on year.
