Robot sales in China are set to almost triple by 2018.
Data shows annual robot sales in China may jump to 150-thousand by the end of 2018, up from 57-thousand last year.
The country is trying to modernize its industrial production and has identified robotics due to labor shortages and fast rising wages.
It also encourages its own robot makers with subsidies as the number of robotics firms is growing fast.
At present, China's robot market is dominated by many foreign players like ABB, Kuka and Yaskawa.
