The Total Value of Russia's Ferrous Metal Exports in January-May Down 13.9 Percent

In the January-May period of the current year, Russia's ferrous metal export volume decreased by 6.5 percent year on year to 14.973 million mt, including 1.326 million mt of pig iron, down 15.3 percent year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). The total value of Russia's ferrous metal exports in January-May this year was $8.267 billion, down 13.9 percent year on year.
