Loubilou opens doors in April, selling toys, gifts, accessories and clothing.
A new website offering parents a global emporium featuring individual sellers of children's toys, gifts, accessories and clothing is hitting the UK in April.
Loubilou will aim to bring together some of the best independent sellers around the world. Sellers will be able to create their own storefront - free of charge - enabling them to connect with a much larger audience.
The site has been created by father of two, Heath Kane. Frustrated by the limited choice of clothing available from High Street retailers for his young children, he also found it a marathon hunt to find just the right sellers online.
Kane said: "Most parents have limited time and rely on major High Street retailers to shop for their children. I noticed my kids, and all their friends, were looking like little department store clones.
"Individuality is important for children, but there wasn't a single website offering a more diverse range of clothing and toys. Loubilou will initially launch in the UK, but we plan to roll out across Europe within the next six months."
