Crystalline silicon solar cell makers Neo Solar Power, Motech Industries and Gintech Energy saw consolidated revenues for August slip mainly because shipments to the US market were hindered by anti-dumping tariff rates, according to Chinese-language newspaper Economic Daily News.
Neo Solar reported a 15-month low in August consolidated revenues at NT$1.871 billion (US$62.4 million), decreasing 8.83% on month and 11.16% on year. The company's January-August consolidated revenues of NT$18.587 billion hiked 72.37% on year.
Motech said its August consolidated revenues of NT$1.116 billion hit a 18-month low, dropping 6.63% on month and 50.15% on year. However, January-August consolidated revenues of NT$13.563 billion grew 5.86% on year.
Gintech posted August consolidated revenues of NT$869 million, falling 11.56% on month and 35.16% on year. Its January-August consolidated revenues of NT$10.510 billion rose 11.61% on year.
