Lantech, a global provider of case handling, stretch wrapping, and shrink packaging solutions, announced that the company has finalized an order for the sale of over 50 case erectors, plus an unspecified number of case sealers and associated equipment to one customer.
Lantech sales vice president Darryl Gee said it was its largest single sale of case handling equipment in its 40 years history.
"The communication I received with the award notification specified three reasons for their choice. They felt we offered the best technical solutions to start, as well as the most flexibility for customizing machines to fit their needs, and they had a high degree of comfort and confidence in working with our people," Gee said.
Lantech case erectors have developed a reputation for reliability and delivering 'square' cases, eleven years after their introduction into the US market
The pickup and folding frame technology overcomes quality problems and manufacturing defects on case blanks, typically the biggest cause of jams and downtime, according to the company.
