A video showing the Toyota FT-HT Yuejia concept has been released, highlighting the MPV’s flexibility and giving us our first look at its interior.
Releasedmore than a month after the Toyota FT-HT Yuejia concept car debuted at the 2013 Shanghai auto show, the clip shows the six-seater accompanying a young man as he transitions through life from dating to marriage to having a family.
With an exterior highlighted by sharp LED headlights, an angular front grille and suicide-style doors, the interior features six seats in a 2+2+2 layout – with the front passenger seat able to swivel 180 degrees – a digital instrument display and a panoramic glass roof.
Measuring 155mm longer, 145mm wider and 250mm taller than the seven-seat Toyota Prius V, the Toyota FT-HT Yuejia is bound exclusively for China in the coming years, though the Japanese manufacturer is yet to reveal any powertrain or production details.
The FT-HT Yuejia was joined by another concept in Shanghai, the Toyota Yundong Shuangqing II sedan, which is also destined to become a future production model in the Chinese market.
