Burgopak Healthcare & Technology has secured a deal from Aragan, a French laboratory to package its probiotics and dietary supplements portfolio.
Under the deal, Aragan has introduced five products in France using Burgopak's bespoke packaging service. The products include Restaure, Sinuflash, Cystiflash, Biotic P10, and Metaflora.
The packaging features a sliding mechanism to present the products. The opening and closing functionality of the design is said to be an extension of Aragan's brand identity.
According to Burgopak, all of the packs contain printed PVC/aluminum blisters with 10 or 20 capsules in either double or single blister pack formats.
Aragan managing director Nicolas Brodetsky said it is necessary in the OTC and food supplement market to offer the patient/consumer a benefit to attract them.
"Burgopak provided the answer to this and has proven to be a successful packaging solution for our range of products," Brodetsky added.
The design of the packaging removes the unnecessary space and offers protection for the product. The decrease in packaging volume improves retail shelf space and cuts down shipping costs.
Additionally, Aragan plans to use Burgopak's packaging services for further launches across its product portfolio.
