A New Closure Omni Mini XP for Carbonated Soft Drinks and Beverages Was Launched by CSI

Global packaging company Closure Systems International (CSI) has announced the launch of the new closure Omni mini XP for carbonated soft drinks and beverages in the industry.

The new lightweight, one-piece / linerless 28mm closure, which is made using fully recyclable polyethylene resin, is said to be compatible with the 1881 bottle finish and weighs less than 2g.

CSI claims that the closure delivers better capping application performance, CO2 retention, impact resistance as well as savings in raw material for brand owners producing beverages.

In order to enhance capping application performance, the closure has been precision-engineered, which results in lower defect rates and better productivity for beverage bottlers who depend on delivering high production output on a daily basis.

The closure, which delivers impact resistance and CO2 performance, minimizes cocked caps, reduces variability across colors and sensitivity to bottling line speed changes. It also protects the pack even when exposed to harsh distribution and retail display conditions.

Omni mini's seal design provides product freshness for consumers. The closure can be used across the full range of beverage packages ranging from 250ml to 3l non-returnable PET bottles.
