Stretch wrapping solutions provider Orion Packaging is all set to introduce its Flex Series A (Automatic) and D (Deluxe) models with new wrap recipes at Pack Expo Las Vegas to be held from 23–25 September 2013.
According to Orion, users can pre-program up to five recipes with multiple parameters that provide control over wrap type, patterns and amount of material used, with the new wrap recipes.
Wrap specifications can also be quickly changed by the operators to presets in order to accommodate various applications, products or security requirements.
All Flex models of the company are built with pre-stretch film delivery system called InstaThread that can elongate stretch film by up to 260% before being wrapped on the load.
Flex line of stretch wrapping machines can handle loads up to 5,000lbs with a delivering capacity of up to 40 loads per hour.
Orion Packaging's Flex series models include a PLC controller with a digital human machine interface, low maintenance AC motors, drop lock safety system, a height sensing photoeye, forklift portability from front or rear, and easy drop in stretch film loading.
