According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Turkey’s imports of seamless steel pipes totaled 141,909 tons in the first half of this year, soaring by 18% year on year.
In the given period of time, China was the largest exporter of seamless steel pipes to Turkey with 82,932 tons and Ukraine was the second largest one with 14,620 tons.
In June alone, the country’s imports of seamless steel pipes totaled 22,894 tons, increasing by 3% from a month ago and falling by 7% year on year.
