Germany-based fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) has announced plans to set up a greenfield facility for manufacturing flexible packaging material and haircare productsfor manufacturing flexible packaging material and haircare products.
The proposed facility, which will cater to both flexi-packing and other businesses of the company, is part of Henkel's new strategic plan.
Henkel Group senior vice president-Asia Pacific Thomas Auris said the company is open for joint ventures and acquisitions for technology as well as portfolios, business-standard.com reported.
The company, which has a capacity of 20,000t in flexi-pack laminating at present, plans to double it in the next four or five years.
