Earth911 Thinks That Explaining About Packaging and Recycling to Consumers Is Important

Arizona-based recycling information provider Earth911 said it is vital for companies to explain about packaging and their recycling to consumers, to ensure the maximum possible is recycled and by providing proper information of post-usage and disposal through labeling.

A report on the findings conducted by the body has examined the impact of federal and state regulations on how companies communicate with consumers about packaging of products.

Labeling on products helps consumers in finding the local recycling market and the steps required to recycle the product, and lack of clear and precise communication keeps the recycling rate below 35% in the US.

Earth911 president Corey Lambrecht said Earth911 suggests a labeling solution for relevant communication that concentrates on recycling up from ground zero, which is the basic front curb, by connecting people to a dynamic resource.

"Simply put, a static label cannot represent the complexities of recycling." added Lambrecht.
