The event is due to be held in September this year in Brussels, Belgium.
SPGPrints’ rotary screen printing workflow for labels is claimed to be centred around its nickel RootMesh and re-usable RotoPlate screen programmes.
The company will showcase its new automatic RotoPlate Screen Cleaner, along with its laser imaging prepress systems for rotary screen, flexo, letterpress and dry-offset.
The company will also give out information about its PIKE 700 industrial hybrid UV-inkjet press.
SPGPrints will demonstrate its SPGPrints’ rotary screen workflow as a flexible, low-TCO way to apply several brand-enhancing, functional and tactile effects in one go, such as the no-label look, varnishes and Braille.
The RotoMesh is 100% nickel re-engravable and on non-SPGPrints presses- reusable RotoPlate screen can provide durability and stability at over 100m/min. Both the screen ranges cover a wide range of applications from coarse effects and Braile to fine linework and text as small as 3-point size.
A new variant is the RotoMesh programme, which is a 40mesh re-imageable seamless nickel RotoMesh, offering glitter effects.
SPGPrints will also showcase a developer and washing systems for imaging RotoPlate screens, that provide fast, automated imaging solution with minimal manual input and outstanding reproductivity, without risk of error.
The Retrofitable Rotary Screen Integration (RSI) units can be integrated with almost all label presses to perform in perfect register, inline with other processes.
rotaLEN 7511 is claimed to be a direct CO2 laser engraving system for imaging rotary screens with resolutions of up to 5080 dip in one fully digital step, without film, chemicals or water.
SPGPrints’ software can optimise control when creating fine positive and negative images. And the engraver can accommodate all RotoMesh screens up to 914mm wide or two RotoPlate screen at the same time.
At the expo, the Dutch company will also provide a video preview of its PIKE 700 UV-inkjet hybrid press which is claimed to integrate high resolution digital capabilities with extensive pre-treatment and value-added finishing process.
The 700mm wide roll-to-roll press based on Archer technology featuring up to 10 inkjet positions in a central cylinder configuration, with CMYK plus white standard, using SPGPrints’ own inks that are optimized for the print head and the machine’s treatment processes.
