The Building Material Economic Operation Analysis Conference Was Held in Beijing

The building material economic operation analysis conference of the first three quarters of 2012 was held on October 30th in Beijing. The meeting was held by China Building Materials Federation. Representatives from China Building Materials Federation, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and State Statistics Bureau attended the meeting. Director of Industry Department of State Statistics Bureau, Yang Kuankuan made report on the national industrial & economic operation situation in the first three quarters of 2012. China Cement Association, China Architectural and Industrial Glass Association, China Sanitary Ceramics Association, China Concrete & Cement Products Association, China brick & tile industry association, China National Building Waterproof Association and other associations also introduced economic operation situation of the industry of the first three quarters of 2012, they also analyzed the problems of the current market and delivered operation tendency for the fourth quarter this year and next year. Director of China Building Materials Federation, Qiao Longde made comments on the conference and expressed requirements on the following work. According to the statistics revealed during the conference, total industrial output value of building materials industry in the first three quarters is 270 million RMB, increasing 11.2% compared with the same time of last year. The national cement production in the first three quarters is 1610 million tons, increasing 5.9% compared with last year. Output of flat glass is 550 million standard cases, with year-on-year dropping of 6.9%. Total exporting volume of building materials product is 19.35 billion RMB, appears 12.6% year-on-year increase.
