India-based Tilaknagar Industries (TI) has signed an agreement with Mohan Breweries and Distilleries to manufacture and bottle its brandy brands for the Tamil Nadu market.
Mohan Breweries' manufacturing and bottling facilities will be used by TI, which will further leverage and build upon its existing sales and distribution expertise, under the agreement terms.
Together, the Brigadier's and Vorion brands are said to have reported total volumes of 3.20 million cases for 2012-13.
The deal, which is part of the Indian-made foreign liquor (IMFL) company TI's aim to expand, allows it to increase penetration in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
TI manufactures and markets 40 brands of whisky, brandy, gin, rum and vodka across various domestic and international markets.
