Automated Packaging Systems has expanded its product portfolio with the addition of new Stand-up Pouches for its SidePouch FAS SPrint Revolution Bagging System.
The new SidePouch Stand-up Pouches will be made available in sizes ranging from 4 to12 inches wide and 5 to 16.75 inches long with gussets of about 2 to 8 inches wide in one inch increments.
According to the company, the pouches, which can be pre-printed in about ten colors, are also laminated for gloss, stiffness as well as better tear properties.
Automated Packaging Systems product management director Chris Rempe said that the company's new Stand-up Pouches coupled with the FAS SPrint Revolution offers a new solution for customers.
"This system is engineered for optimum productivity with an economical price point that makes it the most cost-effective Stand-up Pouch System on the market," Rempe added.
The FAS SPrint Revolution does not require any special tooling to switch bag and pouch sizes as well as formats, and enables achievement of changeovers in a short span of time.
The system is claimed to process at speeds up to 900 inches per minute in semi- or fully-automatic modes.
