Following the phenomenal growth in the Indian ecommerce space, footwear and apparel retailer, Woodland is unveiling news designs and collections that would be exclusively available online.
Speaking to mediapersons, Harkirat Singh, managing director, Woodland India said the Company is in talks with leading online portals like Amazon and Flipkart to offer new products and collections.
According to Singh, Woodland’s online business which contributed 12 per cent of its total sales is expected to be around 15 per cent of sales in the current fiscal year.
“Some of the high-end products would also be available in Woodland retail outlets and on the company's website,” he added.
Divulging their expansion plans, he said Woodland is planning to add 60 more stores to its existing retail network of 485 stores.
He also expects Woodland India to clock Rs 1,300 crore in sales in the current fiscal year as against Rs 1,000 in previous fiscal year 2013-14. (AR)
