Taigang Stainless, the largest stainless steel producer in China announced to cut its export prices for austenitic stainless steel coils by US$50/ton in order to reflect weak nickel prices.
After the adjustment, its export prices for 304 grades hot rolled coils (HRC) with thickness of 3mm and cold rolled coils with thickness of 2mm are at US$2,470/ton FOB and US$2,600/ton FOB respectively, according to the official.
The official of Taigang Stainless said that its offer price is far from the current market price level but the company offer discounts for buyers who purchase large amounts.
