The Kronospan Group Acquired The Elektrogorskmebel in April 2013

The Kronospan group acquired the Russian wood-based panels and furniture manufacturer Elektrogorskmebel in April 2013. The company has so far been represented in Russia via the Egoriesvk factory, which trades under the name of OOO Kronospan, where MDF/HDF, laminated panels, laminate flooring and panelling as well as adhesive/impregnating resins and melamine films are also produced, in addition to particleboards. In the course of the second half of 2013, an OSB plant is also to be commissioned there. A second-hand multi-opening press from Canada has been used in the construction of this plant. Elektrogorskmebel’s production range includes raw particleboards, coated panels and kitchen furniture.
