2013 Wrx, Wrx Sti Editions at Sema Show Is Launched by Subaru

Subaru of America, an automobile manufacturing division of Japanese transportation conglomerate Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), has introduced its new 2013 WRX and WRX STI special edition cars at the 2013 SEMA show.

The new models, which will be offered in orange and black special editions, will have a limited run of 300 vehicles, out of which 200 will be WRX and 100 WRX STIs.

Subaru 2013 WRX Special Edition comes equipped with a BOXER engine that will deliver an output of 265hp and produce 244 lb.-ft of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.

WRX STI's turbocharged BOXER engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission and deliver an output of 305hp.

Features of STI edition include Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential (DCCD) version of Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, Subaru Intelligent Drive (SI-DRIVE) and a Multi-Mode Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system.
