Baker Hughes reported Friday that for the week ending March 22, the US rig count fell by 30 to 1,746, following a 24-rig increase a week ago. During the week, the oil rig count fell by 17 to 1,324 while the gas-directed rig count was down by 13 to 418 rigs.
Meanwhile, Canada's rig count plunged by 166 to 337 rigs, following a 77-rig decrease a week ago and a 75-rig slide the week prior. Year-on-year, Canada's rig count was only down 15.
