Scottish craft beer producer BrewDog has announced its plan to open first US brewery in Columbus, Ohio.
As cited in a statement on BrewDog's site: "We are also delighted to announce that we are looking for a site in Columbus, Ohio that would house our USA production brewery.
"We will hopefully be able to provide you all with more of an update on this as soon as we can. In the meantime, we will continue to work hard to make this plan a reality!"
Besides, expanding into the US market, the independent beer maker has also announced plans to start "flagship" bars in Soho, London and Brussels, Belgium.
BrewDog Glasgow mega site will open at the end of July, featuring a full kitchen, a new food offering and 30 craft taps, while the first German location will open in Berlinat the end of this year.
Launched in 2007, BrewDog exports to 55 countries and has 360 staff. Its annual turnover increased by 64% to more than £29m last year.
BrewDog launched a record £25m crowdfunding project earlier this month.
