Greiner Packaging is set to showcase its range of technology and products at this year’s RosUpack packaging fair in Russia.
The event will take place from 20 to 23 June in Moscow.
At the event, the firm will showcase product solutions ranging from handy yogurt cups, practical drink bottles to large packaging containers and barrier packaging.
In March, Greiner Packaging formed a joint venture (JV) with Russian plastic packaging producer Plastic System, which earlier served the market under Souzpromplast brand.
Currently, the new company has been operating under the name Greiner Packaging System.
With a location in Vladimir since 2005, Greiner Packaging is providing its solutions in the Russian market.
The company provides products, which feature thermoforming in conjunction with the K3 cardboard-plastic. Its product portfolio also includes packaging containers.
Packaging International Northeast Europe vice president Jarek Zasadzinski said: “The Russian market offers great potential, and now with two locations, we can offer our customers a wide portfolio and respond to different needs with individual solutions.
“RosUpack is the ideal opportunity to present our competencies accordingly, and to talk with partners and interested parties.”
In August 2016, Greiner Packaging also formed a JV company in India, in a bid to expand its operations in the country.
The European company, along with Indian plastic packaging firm Century Ultrapack, has established a new JV firm Greiner Packaging India Pvt. Ltd.
With locations in 19 different countries across the globe, Greiner Packaging provides plastic packaging solutions for the customers in the food and non-food sector.
The company’s product portfolio includes bottles, cans, lids, containers, cups, closures, tubs and others.
