Coles Recalls Its Lite Sour Cream From Its Stores

Coles, an Australian supermarket chain owned by Wesfarmers, is recalling its Lite Sour Cream from its stores in Western Australia as it may be contaminated with E.coli, according to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

According to the company, the product being recalled was sold in 300g plastic tub and bears a use by date of 02 August 2012.

FSANZ has warned consumers not to consume the product as it may result in illness. It advised customers to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.

Consumers concerned about their health have been advised to seek medical advice, the agency added.
