In early October, Mustang launched its next generation of vertical-lift skid-steer loaders to the public, just in time for fall and winter farm chores that require heavy lifting, dumping and hauling. The two models in the new line are the 2700V NXT2 and the 3300V NXT2, which both feature 72-hp, Tier 4-compliant Yanmar diesel engines.
The operating capacity on the 2700V NXT2 is 2,700 lbs., and its lift height maxes out at a little over 10 ft. 10 in. For those who need an even heavier-duty model, the 3300V NXT2's capacity is 3,300 lbs., and its lift height reaches just over 10 ft. 11 in.
Digital displays offer users a way to monitor fuel, battery, coolant, engine regeneration information and more, all from the cab in real time. Mustang has also made adjustments to the cab for better visibility. Mechanical or air-ride suspension seat options are available, as well.
Mustang boasts easy serviceability through an extra-wide rear door and the engine hood. Buyers have an option for a pressurized cab to reduce noise. A HydraGlide ride control allows for a smooth ride, and a Hydraloc safety system keeps operators safely seated.
Pricing on the 2700V NXT2 starts at $56,970, and the 3300V NXT2 starts at $61,030. For more information, visit mustangmfg.com.
