CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation has launched its new website and CRM software called 'DiseaseTrak'.
Apart from implementing DiseaseTrak, CancerCare will now offer same-day determination and conditional approval for cancer patients.
The new technology will allow a higher standard of care for cancer patients by providing faster access to co-payment assistance.
CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation director Michele McCourt said the tool will improve patient access to treatment.
"The process is easy, fast and seamless. You never have to wait because you will always know the same day whether you're approved," McCourt added.
The new site will help patients in having real-time insight into their status and reduce the usual wait and uncertainty.
The site will also closely monitor each individual's treatment regimen, dispensing history and medication usage, providing improved level of customer service for both patients and health care providers.
In addition to monitoring grants and payments, the site will also provide reminder tools and an interactive calendar for patients in order to assist them in managing their care.
