German carmaker BMW has unveiled the new 4-Series coupe concept prior to its public debut at the upcoming 2013 Detroit auto show in the US.
The new coupe is expected to be offered in two versions including 428i and 435i which are powered by 2.0L and 3.0L engines that generate outputs of about 240hp and 300hp respectively.
Both the engines can be mated either to a standard six-speed manual or an optional eight-speed automatic transmission.
The concept moves on a multi-spoke, dual-coloured 20-inch alloy wheels and is expected to feature LED taillight
The German carmaker is also working on a new M4 Coupe, which is expected to be launched in 2014, following the unveiling of the new M3 in late 2013.
In addition, other 4-Series models including a 4-Series Convertible, a new 4-Series Gran Coupe and an X4 coupe crossover are planned to be produced based on the X3.
