This Season's POD Once Again Achieved Positive Results

This season’s PREMIUM ORDER DÜSSELDORF (POD) once again achieved positive results with attendance figures matching last year’s levels and a steady flow of visitors with peaks on Sunday and Monday.

Anita Tillmann: “POD’s concept of a multi-label showroom, held in conclusion to the international PREMIUM kick-off in Berlin, has been well-adopted by fashion retailers. POD now draws numerous regular clients who come to the event to complete their ordering rounds.

"This model clearly profits the brands and companies which are brought in close dialogue with the retail industry, enabling them to coordinate appointments with buyers in advance.”

Across two levels and nearly 3000 square meters of the Hammer Hallen, POD presented some 400 exclusive collections, around 30% of them newcomers to the event. In addition to the womenswear, menswear, denim, sportswear, footwear, and accessories segments, the upper level also featured a number of SEEK -inspired independent brands.

This makes POD the only ordering event in Düsseldorf to truly unite all the key segments of the retail sector. By now well established as a major event, POD is the most high-caliber and diverse event on the Düsseldorf ordering circuit.

Anita Tillmann: “Integrating new collections into our brand portfolio every season is indispensable. We span the globe with our brand research so that retailers don’t have to, and also lighten the workload of buyers placing orders.”

Numerous agencies take advantage of the PREMIUM ORDER DÜSSELDORF environment and the event’s many logistic and service synergies in order to more effectively handle their orders for the season.

A number of these agencies even continue using the event space as a place to present their collections beyond the dates of the POD event, in order to complete all their necessary client meetings.

Following PREMIUM ORDER DÜSSELDORF will be PREMIUM ORDER MUNICH (POM), taking place from August 10-13 at the Zenith exhibition halls with about 700 high-caliber collections. On the Sunday evening from 6.30 PM, exhibitors and visitors are invited to the PREMIUM Sundowner on the summer terrace of the Zenith tent to celebrate a successful Spring/Summer 2014 ordering season.

With its original Berlin event, a shining light on the international trade show circuit, along with the satellite events in Düsseldorf and Munich, PREMIUM has been successfully melding service and fashion expertise for 10 years.

Together, these events in the three most important German fashion cities mean that PREMIUM offers exclusive and seamlessly complementary platforms, staggered in intervals of two weeks apart in order to cover the entire ordering season.
