Durham Coca-Cola Bottling Company has selected the new HighJump OASIS 5.0 route accounting system (RAS) from HighJump Software, the global provider of supply chain management software.
HighJump OASIS 5.0 will be the operational hub of Durham Coca-Cola's bottling and distribution business and will manage the company's direct store delivery (DSD) routes, hand-held computing devices, customers and driver schedules.
The OASIS 5.0 web user interface, which leverages web-based technology constructs, offers easy navigation, enhanced reporting and analysis capabilities that will enable employees from across the company to get timely information.
According to HighJump, the interface will also make training new staff an easy process, resulting in fewer errors and lower cost in training time and lost productivity.
Durham Coca-Cola also uses HighJump Mobile Sales Advantage, a mobile pre-sales application for its field sales organization, and a mobile delivery solution, HighJump RouteXpress for delivery drivers.
The company operates 35 presell routes and 29 delivery routes from its Durham, North Carolina facility.
