Iced coffee specialist Jimmy’s has introduced its DECAF product range in the UK in a new packaging format from Tetra Pak, a Swedish food packaging and processing company.
The Tetra Prisma Aseptic 330ml carton comes with the new re-sealable DreamCap. The iced coffee drinks range will be packed in the UK by contract packer Framptons.
Tetra Pak portfolio manager Mike Jarvis said the carton has been created with the modern, on-the-go consumer in mind, and its shape and weight makes it easy to grip and carry with no unnecessary bulk.
"Our DreamCap screw cap makes it is easy to open and re-seal, and the opening itself has been sculpted to provide the most comfortable, smooth drinking experience ever," Jarvis said.
According to Tetra Pak, the cartons hold the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) stamp of approval.
In 2012, Framptons decided to invest in a new Tetra Pak A3/CompactFlex line in a bid to address the increasing demand it was experiencing from existing and potential customers for portion-size products.
Jimmy's DECAF coffee, along with original and skinny versions of the drink, will be available in the new format in Waitrose, Ocado and WHSmith travel sites.
