Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation has indicated to join purchase agreement with Press Metal Berhad (PMB) for sharing in the second phase of the aluminum smelting project in Sarawak, Malaysia. PMB is the leading integrated aluminum company in Southeast Asia with different strategy in the aluminum business. Meanwhile, the company has owned acquisition of a 20% shares from PMB. The plant will design an annual production capacity to 320,000 tons and it will complete by the end this year.
