Paper-made packaging products manufacturer Smurfit Kappa UK will acquire CRP Print and Packaging Holdings.
Based in Corby, Northamptonshire, CRP is engaged in POS display, litho packaging, pre-print, direct food contact packaging and heavy duty packaging.
CRP managing director Eddie Fellows said this is the right time to strategically align the company's business with Smurfit Kappa to cater to the future market requirements.
" The Company has enjoyed considerable success under private ownership for the last 20 years and has grown substantially in the past five years," Fellows added.
Smurfit Kappa corrugated UK CEO Clive Bowers said CRP has recorded good business across a number of product group areas, this would give opportunity to Smurfit Kappa to introduce new products to the market.
"This acquisition supports our continued drive to further develop the future of packaging with creative product and supply chain solutions," Bowers added.
Smurfit Kappa, which operates through a network of 350 manufacturing sites across 32 nations, is engaged in offering products including corrugated, containerboard, bag-in-box, solidboard, solidboard packaging, graphicboard, MG paper and sack paper.
