BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Leisure Trends Group and the National Sporting Goods Association have reached an agreement that will provide NSGA members with access to retail sales data from Leisure Trends' Sporting Goods RetailTRAK program.
Leisure Trends and the Bicycle Product Suppliers Association have a similar agreement for retail sales data in the bike industry.
The RetailTRACK program generates retail sell-through reports based on data from more than 1,500 participating retail storefronts. The agreement will give NSGA members access to a "topline" report. NSGA members also will have the opportunity to purcahse more detailed "Brand Share" reports from Leisure Trends. The Brand Share reports provide data on sales of specific product models, including actual retail sales price data.
"NSGA is proud to partner with a company like Leisure Trends Group, which has a successful track record of POS data collection and reporting within our industry. With this partnership, NSGA is providing another highly valuable service to help our members be more profitable," said NSGA president and CEO Matt Carlson.
