The Lighting Industry Association (LIA) has published a guide recommending how lighting controls can deliver energy efficiency requirements for lighting in Part L of the Building Regulations.
The industry association’s Mini guide to lighting controls for building regulations Part L (2013) compliance has been created, before a revised version of Part L comes into force later this year.
The revisions are expected to introduce a new method for measuring lighting efficiency called LENI (the Lighting Efficiency Numeric Indicator) which measures the efficiency of the whole lighting installation, not just the components.
